Shocking robbery in Lymington – elderly man targeted for £5,200 bling!
Police are hunting two brazen thieves who mugged a 70-year-old man in broad daylight in the New Forest town of Lymington.
Daytime Theft Near St Thomas Church
At around 11am on Tuesday, October 18, the victim was relaxing on a bench on St Thomas Street when two men crept up behind him. Without warning, they snatched his priceless Rolex watch, valued at a hefty £4,500, along with a gold Dupont cigarette lighter worth £700.
Suspects on the Run
The pair made a swift getaway. One was spotted wearing a red top and grey jogging bottoms. Police want to track down anyone who saw the thieves or noticed them chatting with the elderly man before the robbery.
