Jewellery Heist on Isle of Wight – Police Hunting Witnesses!
Police are on the hunt after a brazen burglary on the Isle of Wight saw small but valuable jewellery stolen in broad daylight.
Daylight Break-In Shakes Glynn Close
At around 11:45am on Tuesday, October 18, a man forced his way into a home on Glynn Close. The intruder was caught red-handed but fled when the occupants disturbed him.
Stolen loot includes a delicate neck chain and a striking gold ring set with black onyx – items cherished and now missing.
Police Plea: Spot Suspicious Activity?
Detective Constable Gillian said: “This offence happened during daylight hours, and there may have been people around who saw something.”
She urged anyone who witnessed anything or saw a man acting oddly in the area to reach out immediately.
Suspect Nabbed, But Investigation Continues
A 33-year-old man has been arrested and released on bail until December 15. Cops want more info to help build their case.
