CCTV Footage Released After Police Car Vandalised in Warrington

Police have shared CCTV images of a woman they want to identify after a police car was deliberately attacked in Warrington.

Woman Caught on Camera Damaging Police Vehicle

At around 6:50am on Saturday 2 December, the woman was seen repeatedly hurling a plastic bottle at a parked police car. Not stopping there, she ripped off the number plate from the back of the vehicle.

“Her behaviour was unacceptable, and her deliberate act of criminal damage resulted in one of our cars being taken off the road for repairs,” police said.

Police Appeal For Information

Officers urge anyone who recognises the woman or knows her identity to contact Warrington Police Station on 101, quoting incident number 23001216738, or visit their website.

They also made a direct plea to the woman caught on CCTV to come forward.
