A cyclist in his 40s has tragically died following a collision with a bus in Westferry Road, near Arnhem Place, E14, early this morning.

Emergency Response

Police were called at 00:28hrs on Saturday, 23 November, to reports of the incident. Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended the scene, but despite their best efforts, the cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver’s next-of-kin are yet to be located, and enquiries to inform them are ongoing.

The driver of the bus involved in the collision stopped at the scene and is assisting with the investigation. No arrests have been made.
