Cyclist Dies After Horrific Bus Crash on Westferry Road
A cyclist in his 40s was tragically killed in a collision with a bus on Westferry Road, near Arnhem Place, East London, early this morning.
Emergency Crews Rush to Scene
Police were called at 00:28 on Saturday, 23 November, following reports of the crash. Officers and the London Ambulance Service arrived quickly, but despite their best efforts, the cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The bus driver remained at the scene and is fully cooperating with police. No arrests have been made so far.
Investigation Underway, Authorities Appeal for Witnesses
The Roads and Transport Policing Command is leading the inquiry to determine exactly what happened. Meanwhile, police are asking anyone who saw the collision or has information to come forward.
