Man Found Dead in Ashford
Police in Ashford initially launched a murder probe after a man’s body was discovered on Military Road, Appledore, at 4.28pm on Saturday 23 May 2020.
Suspect Arrested Then Released
Officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of murder. But following a post-mortem investigation, the death is now being treated as accidental. The suspect has been released under investigation.
Victim Identified
The victim has been formally identified and their next of kin has been informed.
