Fatal Car Crash Shakes Twickenham Overnight

Tragedy on St Margaret’s Road

Specialist officers are probing a deadly crash in Twickenham in the early hours of Saturday, 28 May. Police rushed to St Margaret’s Road just after 12.20am following reports of a serious car collision.

The London Ambulance Service and Fire Brigade also attended the scene.

Driver Dies, Two Women Injured

The driver, a 27-year-old man, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed.

Two women, both 18, sustained injuries but are not in life-threatening condition. They were taken to hospital for treatment.

Investigation Underway

Detectives from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit have launched a full inquiry.

Detective Constable Caroline Landy said: “This is an incredibly tragic incident, and our thoughts are with the man’s family. We are working hard to establish exactly what happened.”

“We urge anyone who witnessed the crash or has dash cam footage to come forward.”
