Knife Gang Raids Sevenoaks Home in Brutal Aggravated Burglary

Kent Police are hunting down knife-wielding thugs who smashed into a Sevenoaks property on the night of Sunday 28 August 2022. The gang forced their way in near Bradbourne Vale Road, stealing cash and mobile phones. One resident was viciously attacked, suffering nasty cuts to his hands and face.

Six Men Now Charged After Violent Break-In

Following this violent home invasion, six suspects have been arrested and charged. The latest, 22-year-old Kehinde Elegbede, was nabbed at a Croydon address on 27 October. He’s hit with multiple charges including aggravated burglary, wounding with intent, possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear, and carrying an offensive weapon.

Elegbede, from West Norwood, appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 28 October and was remanded to Maidstone Crown Court pending a hearing on 25 November.

Five More Men Behind Bars Await Crown Court Dates

  • Kailum Dennis, 25, of Brixton – aggravated burglary, GBH with intent, possession of imitation firearm, and offensive weapon charges.
  • Benjamin Rodrigues, 19, Stratford – aggravated burglary, firearms and drug offences.
  • Ismail Cassoma, 21, Lewisham – multiple firearm, GBH, drug supply charges.
  • Delcio Paulo, 19, Lewisham – possession of imitation firearm, drugs, and firearm charges.
  • Taiwo Elegbe, 22 – aggravated burglary, wounding with intent, firearm and drug possession.

All five were remanded in custody after September hearings at Medway Magistrates’ Court. They face Maidstone Crown Court on 18 November.
