Teen Tragically Killed in Shocking Mitcham Road Crash
Police have named the victim in a fatal crash on London Road, Mitcham. Eighteen-year-old Rashid Abdullah Alhadid from Croydon died after being hit by a coach on Thursday, 31 January at around 1.13pm.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but Rashid was pronounced dead there and then. The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is urgently seeking witnesses.
Investigators Hunt for Key Witnesses
Detective Sergeant Nick Mackian, leading the investigation, said: “Our thoughts remain with Rashid’s family. We are piecing together exactly what happened.”
He added, “We are keen to hear from anyone who saw the incident and can assist with our enquiries.”
