Woman Raped in Stocks Lane Horror
A woman in her 20s was brutally attacked on Stocks Lane late at night. The chilling assault happened between 11.38pm and 11.58pm as she walked away from Summer Lane.
Two Men Sought Over Attack
- One suspect is described as black with a shaved or bald head.
- The second is mixed race, about 5ft 8 to 5ft 9, late twenties, wearing a white t-shirt, black gilet, dark trousers, and shoes.
- The victim also recalled a distinctive neck tattoo featuring a skull with blood or fire on it.
Police Urge Public for Help
Acting Detective Inspector Dean Hamby said: “This is a very concerning incident and we have a team of officers working hard to identify the men described.”
He added: “Please check your mobile phones, CCTV, doorbell, and dashcam footage, especially between 11pm and 12.30am around Stocks Lane and nearby streets.”
There has been an increase in uniformed officers patrolling the town centre. A/DI Hamby urged anyone with concerns to approach them.
