Shocked Pensioner Confronted During Home Break-In
Detectives have unleashed footage of a burglary suspect caught on CCTV in Orpington, Bromley. The break-in happened on Friday, 19 June, at 8.45pm at a home on Wateringbury Close.
The terrified 83-year-old victim was inside when she heard a loud bang and came face-to-face with a male intruder. The suspect asked, “Do you want any 1 done?” The victim declined, and the man then fled the scene.
Suspect Description and Police Appeal
Officers believe the intruder forced entry through the front door but no arrests have been made yet.
- Suspect: White male, skinny build
- Hair: Balding brown/ginger
- Clothing: Light brown jacket, jeans, blue gloves, face mask
Detective’s Plea to the Public
