Murder Probe Launched After Paddington Stabbing Tragedy
A 19-year-old man, Ahmed Beker, was fatally stabbed in Paddington Green, sparking a murder investigation. Police were called to the scene at 9.13pm on Friday, 26 February.
Chaos on Mopeds Caught Police’s Attention
Emergency services including London Ambulance and Air Ambulance rushed to the scene. Despite their efforts, Ahmed was pronounced dead at 10pm.
Homicide detectives revealed two mopeds were seen driving erratically against traffic near the area, with one even riding on the pavement. The mopeds were last spotted heading back towards Harrow Road.
Police Hunt for Crucial Witnesses
- Officers recovered a moped from the Grand Union Canal near Great Western Studios on Monday, 1 March.
- They urge anyone with dashcam footage or who spotted anything suspicious around Alfred Road on the night to come forward.
- No arrests have been made yet, investigations are ongoing.
