Teen Stabbed to Death in Hillingdon – 16-Year-Old Arrested
Detectives have made a breakthrough in the murder probe of a 16-year-old boy stabbed to death in Hillingdon.
Fatal Stabbing at Philpotts Farm Open Space
Police and paramedics rushed to Philpotts Farm Open Space near Heather Lane, Yiewsley, on Thursday 30 December after a stabbing was reported at 7.34pm. They found the teenage boy with a puncture wound. Despite desperate efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene just under an hour later at 8.25pm.
The victim is yet to be formally identified.
16-Year-Old Held on Suspicion of Murder
On Sunday 2 January, detectives arrested a 16-year-old boy at a Hillingdon address on suspicion of murder. He remains in police custody as the investigation continues.
The victim’s family, supported by specialist officers, have been informed of the tragic news.
Police Plea as Investigation Widens
Detective Chief Inspector James Shirley, leading the case, said: “This arrest is a key step, but we’re still following every lead. Our thoughts are with the family of this young man lost to senseless violence. We’re determined to find those responsible and bring them to justice. If you have any information, please come forward.
