Knife-Wielding Thugs Rob Disabled Man in Southampton Park

Police are hunting two men who robbed a 54-year-old man using crutches in Palmerston Park, Southampton, on Thursday, August 4.

Victim Threatened with Knife

The victim was approached around 3pm in Above Bar Street by the two suspects. They led him to a quiet spot in the park where one pulled a knife and demanded his watch and wallet. After grabbing the goods, the pair fled across the park towards Debenhams.

Suspects on the Run

  • First man: Mixed race, aged 18-25, 5ft 8ins to 6ft tall, average build, short dark hair, wearing a dark blue jacket with a grey hoodie underneath.
  • Second man: Black, 18-25 years old, taller than the first, short black hair, wearing a red t-shirt.
