Police Warn: Cannabis Farms Put Communities at Risk

“We are pleased to have broken up this cannabis growing operation,” said Sgt Zoey Price of Nottinghamshire Police’s Operation Reacher team. “These warrants rely on intelligence from the public and help us disrupt criminal networks who exploit vulnerable people.

“Cannabis cultivation isn’t a victimless crime. It endangers the wider community, especially when electricity is illegally bypassed to power grows. We don’t want to see this happen, so we work hard to target offenders.”

“Anyone with info about drug activity is urged to call 101. To report details about the Raymede Drive grow, quote incident 77 of 24 February 2023, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
