Car Crashes into Care Home in Gillingham
Emergency services rushed to Maidstone Road, Gillingham, this afternoon after a car careered off the road and smashed into a care home building.
Serious Injuries Reported
The crash happened just after 3.30pm on Friday. Police, fire crews, and paramedics arrived swiftly, responding to reports that people were trapped inside the stricken vehicle and building.
The car is believed to have ploughed straight into the kitchen area of the care home. Several people caught up in the horror are reported to be seriously injured and are receiving urgent medical treatment at the scene.
Road Closure and Building Stabilisation Underway
