Crash Chaos on Isle of Wight: Five Hurt in Shalfleet Smash
Emergency crews rushed to a crash on Corf Road between Shalfleet and Porchfield this Monday evening. Firefighters and paramedics were called just after 5.30pm to tackle the incident.
Five Treated and Taken to Hospital
Two fire engines and a pair of ambulances arrived swiftly at the scene. Paramedics treated five people on site before whisking them off to St Mary’s Hospital for further care. Thankfully, no one was trapped inside the vehicle.
Road Shut as Police Investigate
Joint armed response officers from Hampshire Constabulary have shut Corf Road in both directions, causing major delays. Emergency teams continue to work as inquiries unfold.
