18-Year-Old Woman Found Unconscious in Tent
Police confirmed tonight that an 18-year-old woman from Buckinghamshire has died at this year’s Boomtown Fair. Just after midday on Monday, August 15, medics were called to a tent at the Cheesefoot Head festival site where the teenager was found unconscious.
Paramedics’ Life-Saving Efforts Sadly Fell Short
Despite immediate and relentless efforts from paramedics and the onsite doctor, the young woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The death is not being treated as suspicious, but the coroner’s investigation remains ongoing.
Police and Organisers Support Friends and Family
Officers are working closely with Boomtown’s organisers as well as witnesses. Friends at the festival are receiving support, and next of kin have been informed of the heartbreaking news.
