Police are scrambling for witnesses after a deadly collision tore through the A22 Hailsham Road early this morning (15 June).
Eastbourne Man, 34, Dies at Scene
Officers rushed to the scene just after 5am following reports of a motorbike incident. Sadly, the rider, a 34-year-old man from Eastbourne, was pronounced dead on the spot. His family have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.
A22 Shut as Investigations and Recovery Underway
Authorities have shut the A22 in both directions while they piece together what happened in the early hours. Recovery teams are also on site.
