Detectives are hunting for witnesses after a deadly stabbing rocked Enfield on Friday night.

Man, 66, Stabbed to Death at Lockhart Close Flats

The tragedy unfolded just after 7:25 PM on March 1st. Emergency services were called to Lockhart Close following reports of a man critically injured in the communal area of a block of flats.

Officers and paramedics found a 66-year-old man with severe stab wounds. Despite rushed medical aid, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigation Underway with Police Plea for Information

Detective Chief Inspector Laura Nelson, from Specialist Crime, revealed the victim was attacked inside a flat before being found outside. She said, “We will do everything possible to find whoever was responsible for this killing.”

DCI Nelson thanked the community for their cooperation so far and confirmed a strong police presence remains in the area. Forensic experts and investigators are combing the scene for clues.

Witnesses Urged to Step Forward

Residents near Lockhart Close, Derby Road, Lincoln Road, or surrounding streets on the evening of March 1st are urged to come forward with information.
