Fire crews called to Carisbrooke blaze
Fire crews from the Isle of Wight have been called to a property ablaze in Carisbrooke on the Isle of Wight this evening Crews were mobilised to the property just after 9pm. Three appliances have been called to the incident on Kestral Way – off of Fieldfare Road. Two Crews from Newport and a crew from East Cowes are tackling the fire that has broken out at the rear of the property in an outhouse and has spread to the property. Firefighters externally are removing roof tiles whilst other firefighter wearing breathing apparatus with hose reels have entered the property in an attempt to stop the developing fire from spreading. No one has been hurt in the blaze that is under investigation. More to follow
