The devastating fire broke out in a residential block on Tollgate Road, Beckton, in the evening. Rumours suggest a house party was underway, though this is yet to be confirmed.
Firefighters found Tiffany in a second-floor flat and pronounced her dead at the scene. The London Fire Brigade confirmed one person died, and emergency services rushed five others to hospital. Six fire engines and 40 firefighters battled the blaze, bringing it under control by 6.33pm.

Eye-Witness Describes Horror as People Jumped From Burning Flats
“There was a bit of smoke and one of my colleagues said, ‘call the police,'” said Raza Nowsin, 26, who manages a shop opposite the scene. “As soon as I stepped outside, I saw a massive fire.”
“It started mostly on the balcony and then spread everywhere. I saw people jumping from the top balcony. They had a mattress below to catch them, but some couldn’t make it.”
Police remain at the scene today amid burnt-out windows and floral tributes left in memory of Tiffany and the other victims of this horrific blaze.
