Tributes cards and flowers along with images have been left at the spot near to the entice of the Dover fun fair where a 14-year old boy tragically lost his life after going into the fair for a dare and climbing over a ride whilst it was still under construction and closed.

The teenage boy has died following a “serious incident” at a fun fair. Emergency services rushed to Pencester Gardens in Dover, England, early this  Wednesday morning but the  boy couldn’t be saved and was preannounced dead at the scene.

The family funfair run by Kent-based Forrest Amusements which, according to a poster, was due to open to the public on Wednesday. Businesses began sitting up rides on Tuesday.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are currently unclear, A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.42am this morning (August 3, 2022) to a serious incident at Pencester Gardens in Dover.  

Friends of the young  man have spent the day adding tribute flowers and cards at the scene on Dover.  

He has been named locally as Mckenzie Cook 14, from Deal.

Kent Police say the death isn’t being treated as suspicious.
