Tragedy Strikes Dover Fun Fair: Teen Dies After Dare Gone Wrong
Heartbreak in Dover as a 14-year-old boy dies following a deadly dare at a local fun fair still under construction. Mckenzie Cook climbed over a closed ride at Pencester Gardens and tragically lost his life.
Fatal Incident at Dover’s Fun Fair Site
Emergency services were called to the scene early Wednesday morning after reports of a “serious incident.” Paramedics arrived swiftly but could not save the teenager, who was pronounced dead at the site.
The fun fair, run by Kent-based Forrest Amusements, was due to open to the public later that day. Rides were being set up on Tuesday when the fatal accident happened.
Community Mourns Young Life Lost
Friends and locals have since gathered at the entrance of the fair, leaving flowers, tributes, and heartfelt messages in memory of Mckenzie, who was from nearby Deal.
Kent Police have confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious. A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.42am this morning to a serious incident at Pencester Gardens in Dover.
