BT Customers Beware: Duplicate Direct Debits May Have Hit Your Account!
BT customers are urged to check their bank statements now. Some have been slapped with double charges on their direct debit payments.

BT has acknowledged the blunder and released a statement:
“If you’ve experienced a duplicate Direct Debit for a bill you’ve already paid, please be aware that we’re working on fixing the issue now and it should be automatically refunded shortly.”
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”
