Assault Shakes Clapham Junction Shop – Emergency Crews Rush In
Attack on Staff Member Sparks Police and Ambulance Response
Emergency services swooped on a shop in Northcote Road, Clapham Junction this Wednesday afternoon after reports of an assault on a staff member.
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) received the call at 2:41 PM and quickly sent an ambulance crew and their Tactical Response Unit to the scene. A LAS spokesperson said, “Our crews assessed a male patient, before releasing him at the scene.”
Meanwhile, the Metropolitan Police were alerted earlier at 2:32 PM. A police spokesperson confirmed, “Officers were called to a shop in Northcote Road, Clapham Junction, at 14:32hrs following reports that a member of staff had been assaulted.” The victim declined further medical treatment.
Investigation Underway – Police Hunt Suspect
Police are actively investigating the incident and looking for the suspect involved in the assault.
