Police in Coventry are probing the circumstances surrounding the deaths of a man and a woman earlier today, with initial indications suggesting the incident was isolated.
Police were summoned to Caludon Road shortly after 5:30 am, where they discovered a man in his 50s deceased at the scene. Additionally, a woman in her 40s was found with serious injuries and was swiftly transported to the hospital. Tragically, despite medical intervention, she succumbed to her injuries shortly thereafter.
The individuals are believed to have been acquainted with each other, and their next of kin are currently receiving support from Police.
