Sudden Blindness Cuts Career Short
At ten years old, Kai’s career was ending. But it came to an abrupt halt in early January when he went blind overnight. His unexpected sight loss meant he could no longer work safely, forcing his retirement.
Heartbreak for Handler and Team
Tragically, Kai passed away on 7 March 2023. The fire service paid tribute to their loyal pup, sending heartfelt thoughts to Mat during this heartbreaking time.
