Witness Captures Disturbing Memorial Vandalism
The passerby said: “Not sure who he is but it’s disgusting and I hope he gets caught! I didn’t expect this post to blow up. Many said I should’ve called the police or stopped him instead of filming.”
The police were told at the scene and another member of the public stepped in. The witness admitted they didn’t feel safe enough to confront the man themselves.
“This video is just to raise awareness,” they added. “The more it’s shared, the better chance we have of ID’ing him.”

Social media users have slammed the attacker. Bernadine Priest fumed: “Disrespectful little t**t – all colours and races fought and some lost their lives fighting for our country, what a total idiot.”
Rusty Russell called him an “Evil B*****d.”
Police Appeal for Witnesses
A Hampshire Police spokeswoman confirmed an investigation into criminal damage to the wreaths is underway.
