An 18-year-old woman was rushed to a London hospital with serious injuries following a chaotic emergency at the Port of Dover last night.

The Jubilee Way flyover, overlooking Dover’s Eastern Docks, was sealed off as police, paramedics, and four fire engines swarmed the scene. A specialist height rescue vehicle and the Kent Fire and Rescue Service’s Line Rescue Unit were deployed in the dramatic operation.
Witness Claims Woman Fell From White Cliffs
A bystander reported hearing staff mention the incident involved someone falling from the famous White Cliffs. The coastguard joined emergency crews, with the entire area shut down shortly before 11pm as the rescue unfolded.
Police Confirm Serious Incident, Woman Stable but Critical
“We were called at 10.17pm on Tuesday to concerns for the welfare of a person in the Port of Dover,” a police spokesperson told KentOnline. “Officers attended alongside other emergency services. An 18-year-old woman was airlifted to a London hospital with serious injuries. She remains in a stable but serious condition.”
Fire Service Details Swift, Coordinated Response
A fire service spokesperson added: “Four fire engines, a height vehicle, and the KFRS Line Rescue Unit attended and worked with other emergency services at the scene.”
