Murder Probe Launched After Woman Found Dead in Whitechapel
Police have launched a murder investigation after a woman was found dead in a Whitechapel flat.
Tragic Discovery in Crowder Street
Officers and paramedics rushed to a property on Crowder Street, E1, at around 1.30pm on Friday, 26 April, after concerns were raised about the welfare of a female resident.
Inside, they found a 35-year-old woman who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Hunt Next of Kin
Urgent enquiries are underway to trace the woman’s next of kin. A post-mortem and formal identification will take place in due course.
Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are leading the investigation.
