Proactive Police Stop Leads to Arrest
Officers on patrol in Staple Gardens, Winchester, made a major haul early this morning (11 June). At around 12.50am, they stopped a man under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act and found several bags of suspected Class A drugs on him.
Southampton Man Held on Drug Supply Charges
A 21-year-old from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A substances. He remains in custody as investigations continue.
Evidence Seized: Drugs, Cash, and Phone
Police also seized a stash of bags containing white powder, a substantial amount of cash, and a phone linked to the suspected drug activity.
Another Man Caught with Cannabis
In a related incident, a 23-year-old man was given a community resolution for possession of cannabis during the same operation.
