Man Fatally Stabbed in Hanwell: Police Appeal for Witnesses

Hanwell, London  A 33-year-old man, Dariusz Serafin, was fatally stabbed near the junction of Sydney Road and Regina Road in Hanwell, Ealing, on February 10.

Tragic Incident at Local Pub

Police were called at approximately 10:30pm after Serafin stumbled into the Grosvenor pub on Oaklands Road, suffering from multiple stab wounds. Despite the efforts of paramedics, he died at the scene.

Police Appeal for Information

The Metropolitan Police have launched a murder investigation and are urging members of the public to come forward with any information that may assist their inquiries.

Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell stated:
“We urge anyone with information to contact us urgently. There may be CCTV, ring doorbell, or dashcam footage that could be relevant to the investigation. We ask anyone who was in the area between 8:30pm and 10:30pm on Monday, February 10, to check their footage and notify the police if they believe they have captured anything significant.

Family’s Heartfelt Tribute

Serafin’s family released an emotional statement following his tragic death:
“Dariusz, known for his boundless empathy and loving spirit for people and animals, touched everyone he met with his kindness and compassion. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved. In his honour, his family urges everyone to help end senseless knife crime in the streets of London and to assist in bringing the person responsible for his death to justice. Rest peacefully, Dariusz.”

Ongoing Investigation

No arrests have been made at this time, and police continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the fatal attack.
