Man Found Dead in Worthing Car Park

Sussex Police rushed to Eriswell Road car park in Worthing on Wednesday, October 2, after concerns were raised for a man’s welfare. Officers discovered a 36-year-old man from Lancing, pronounced dead at the scene.

Emergency Call Sparks Rapid Response

The emergency call came in just before 3 p.m., triggering a swift response from police and paramedics. Despite their efforts, the man was sadly confirmed dead upon their arrival.

No Suspicious Circumstances, Investigation Ongoing

A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “Police were called following concerns for a man’s welfare in Eriswell Road Car Park, Worthing, around 2.55pm on Wednesday, October 2. Officers arrived and a 36-year-old man from Lancing was found dead at the scene. His next of kin has been informed. There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.”

Authorities continue to investigate but have ruled out foul play. The man’s family have been notified, and the community is urged to respect their privacy during this difficult time.
