Fatal Crash Near Iwade: Two Dead, One Injured
Kent Police are hunting witnesses and dashcam footage after a deadly smash on Old Ferry Road near Iwade.
Tragic Collision on Old Ferry Road
At around 8.30pm on Saturday 3 January 2026, a blue Ford Fiesta veered off the carriageway of Old Ferry Road. Emergency services including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service, and Kent Fire and Rescue rushed to the scene.
Sadly, two occupants of the car were pronounced dead at the scene. A third passenger was rushed to a nearby hospital with injuries.
Road Closures and Investigation Underway
Officers closed the stretch between Raspberry Hill Lane and Sheppey Way to assist rescue efforts. The road remains shut as detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit probe the incident.
