Tragedy in Norwich: Man in His 60s Dies After River Incident

A man in his 60s has tragically died after being found in the river in Norwich on Friday morning, January 5.

Emergency Rush to Riverside Road

Police were called at 11.19am following reports of a man spotted in the river near the Compleat Angler on Riverside Road. Firefighters, paramedics, and police rushed to the scene.

Efforts to Save Man Prove Fruitless

Paramedics worked on the man at the scene before rushing him to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. Sadly, he later died.

No Suspicion in Death, Coroner Involved

Police confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious. A file will now be passed on to the coroner for further investigation.
