The drama unfolded just before 9:40pm on 30 May when police and paramedics were called to reports of two men fighting amid the bustling shopping and transport hub.
Officers found one man with injuries to his arm. He was treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital. Thankfully, his wounds are not life-threatening.

A man was promptly arrested at the scene on suspicion of affray and is currently held in police custody as investigations continue.
“Police were called at 21:41hrs on Friday, 30 May to Woolwich New Road, SE18 following reports of two men fighting. Officers attended and a man was located with injuries to his arm. He was taken to hospital where he remains. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. A man was arrested on suspicion of affray and remains in custody.”
