Man Arrested After Brutal Skull Fracture at Basingstoke Pub

A 23-year-old man has been arrested following a vicious assault at The Beacon Pub in Basingstoke. The shocking attack left a 38-year-old victim with a fractured skull.

Bottle Thrown in Late-Night Attack

The incident took place between 11pm and 11.32pm on Friday, May 10, on Kings Road. Police revealed the victim was struck by a thrown bottle, knocking him unconscious. He needed urgent surgery to treat the serious head injury.

Suspect Released Under Investigation

The arrested man, a local from Basingstoke, has since been released under investigation as inquiries continue. Police issued a public appeal for information following the violent assault.
