20-Year-Old Man Arrested on Suspicion of Murder
A 20-year-old Kirkby man has been arrested in connection with the shooting and remains in custody. Detective Chief Inspector Cath Cummings said the probe is in its early stages but described the attack as a “targeted shooting” carried out in front of witnesses.
“This incident happened in broad daylight and shocked those nearby. We urge anyone who saw what happened, or has any footage — from CCTV, dashcams or doorbells — to come forward, no matter how small the detail,” DCI Cummings pleaded.
Community Urged to Help Police Crack Case
