Knife Attack Shakes Eastbourne Town Centre
Emergency services rushed to Eastbourne town centre early Saturday morning following a knife attack on Terminus Road around 7:30am.
Man Seriously Injured in Brutal Stabbing
A 30-year-old man suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Paramedics treated him at the scene before he was rushed to hospital.
Two Men Released After Initial Arrests
Sussex Police initially arrested a 20-year-old and a 27-year-old man on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH). However, both were released with no further action after a deeper investigation. They are now treated as witnesses.
“There will be increased patrols in the area while police continue their enquiries and to provide reassurance to the public. Further CCTV and witness enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances,” a Sussex Police spokesperson said.
