Police Stumble on Massive Grow Operation
Officers in Thanet made a shock discovery after responding to a burglary alert. Kent Police were called at 10.50pm on Tuesday, April 26, following reports of people trying to break into a home on Albion Road, Ramsgate.
Six Rooms Turned Into Illegal Pot Factory
When cops arrived, they found damaged wiring and uncovered six rooms packed with cannabis plants. The property had been transformed into a sizeable illegal grow house.
760 Plants Seized, Cultivation Gear Taken
Police promptly seized an estimated 760 cannabis plants and dismantled all the growing equipment on site. No arrests have been made so far, but inquiries are continuing.
