Motorcyclist Dies in Amberley Crash on Turnpike Road

Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist sadly died in a serious collision in Amberley, West Sussex.

Emergency services were called to Turnpike Road (B2139), near the junction with Newland Gardens, at around 5.30pm on Sunday, 30 March, following reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a van.

Despite the best efforts of paramedics and air ambulance crews, the 66-year-old male motorcyclist from Kent was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed, police confirmed.

Officers are now urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who has relevant dashcam footage from the area at the time, to come forward.
