Murder investigation launched following fatal stabbing in Hounslow

A murder investigation has been launched after a teenager was fatally stabbed in Hounslow. Police were called at around 10.30pm on Friday, 22 March, to a fight and a seriously injured male at flats off Union Lane, Isleworth. Officers attended and found a male suffering stab injuries outside a block of flats. They administered first aid prior to the arrival of London Ambulance Service. However, the victim – believed to be a 17-year-old boy – was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later. A post-mortem examination and formal identification will be arranged in due course. Officers have begun the process of informing next of kin. An urgent investigation is underway, led by detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command supported by colleagues from the West Area Command Unit. There has been no arrest at this early stage.
