A 17-year-old boy has tragically died in a stabbing on Hackney Road, sparking a murder investigation by the Met Police.
Met Officers Rush to Scene After Late-Night Attack
Police and paramedics were called at 10:53pm on Saturday, February 17, to reports of a stabbing near the junction with Cremer Street, E2. On arrival, officers found the teenager suffering stab wounds. Despite urgent medical efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Family Devastated, Police Vow Justice
The victim’s family has been informed and are receiving specialist support. Detective Chief Superintendent James Conway, who leads policing in Hackney and Tower Hamlets, offered his condolences and vowed to catch those behind the “senseless violence.”
