Leicester is reeling after a man was found dead in the early hours of Monday, 29 September, on Mowmacre Hill. Police have launched a full-scale murder investigation into the shocking death.
Man Discovered at 12:10am on Modbury Avenue
Just after midnight, patrol officers stumbled upon the man lying motionless on Modbury Avenue, near Red Hill Way. Paramedics from East Midlands Ambulance Service rushed to the scene and performed frantic CPR, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
No Arrests Yet, Police Maintain Tight Grip on the Investigation
Detectives have cordoned off the area and are conducting thorough enquiries. No arrests have been made so far, but officers remain in the neighbourhood to reassure residents and push the probe forward.
