Three Arrested After Spate of Robberies and Assaults in Hampshire
Police have arrested three suspects amid a wave of robberies and brutal assaults across Fleet and Farnborough, Hampshire. Officers are hunting for more information from the public as the violent spree continues to rattle local communities.
Gang Attacks Leave Victims Injured and Robbed
The attacks involve groups of six to eight young men targeting innocent victims, beating them up, and snatching valuables.
- 30 October: A 20-year-old man was stabbed on Ship Lane between 6:15pm and 7:15pm. His injuries are serious but not life-threatening. Police arrested a 15-year-old and a 19-year-old on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. Both were questioned and later released pending further investigation.
- 31 October (early evening): At Peter Driver sports ground in Fleet, two 14-year-olds and a 13-year-old were attacked by another youth gang. A baseball cap was stolen during the assault.
- 31 October (10pm): A 16-year-old boy suffered serious mouth and teeth injuries at Fleet Pond on Cove Road. No items were taken. A 17-year-old from Fleet was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in custody.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and CCTV Footage
Detective Inspector Dan Voller said: “We want to hear from anyone who witnessed these shocking attacks or knows who’s involved. If you have private CCTV or dash cam footage from these areas at the times mentioned, you might hold vital clues.”
Local police have boosted patrols to keep the community safe.
