Woman in Pram Crash Left Critical as Driver Flees Scene

Just after midnight on Friday, 3 February, a shocking hit-and-run unfolded at the junction of North Hyde Lane and Raleigh Road. Police rushed to reports that a car had struck a pedestrian — a 30-year-old woman pushing a pram.

Baby Unharmed, Woman Fighting for Life

The woman was rushed to hospital and remains in critical condition. Thankfully, the baby in the pram was unharmed. Next of kin have been informed.

Driver Still on the Run – Police Hunting for Witnesses

The driver sped off without stopping. Police are urgently searching for the culprit and appealing for witnesses.
