Just before 11am today, Friday 31 March, Basingstoke’s High Harm Team swooped on a man on Vyne Road. Police suspected him of drug-related activities and wasted no time.

Officers searched the 30-year-old under section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. They found a stash of suspected Class A drugs, cash, and two mobile phones – a classic sign of drug dealing.

Man Arrested for Intent to Supply

The man, a local from Basingstoke, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. He remains in custody as the investigation continues.
