Man suffers broken jaw in vicious punch outside MoJo’s – police hunt suspect

Late-night brawl on Thurland Street

Police rushed to MoJo’s on Thurland Street in the early hours of February 2 after reports of a large disturbance at 1.37am. A 24-year-old man was punched in the face, leaving him with a broken jaw.

CCTV released in bid to catch attacker

Officers have now released CCTV footage of a man they want to speak to. Detectives hope this will help track down the culprit.

Victim undergoes surgery, cops seek public’s help

“This attack left the victim in pain. He has since attended Queen’s Medical Centre and undergone surgery,” said Detective Constable Michael Gardner.

“He is now recovering, and we are determined to catch the person responsible. We have carried out many lines of inquiry to bring the person to justice. We are now calling on the public’s help.”
