Nine American Bulldog Pups Stolen in Dead of Night
Early on Tuesday 24 May 2022 at around 4.20am, thieves broke into a property on Charminster Road. They made off with nine young American Bulldog puppies, leaving the owner devastated.
Victim Heard Voices But Thieves Vanished
The victim reported hearing male voices during the break-in but by the time they got downstairs, the culprits had fled the scene with the puppies.
Police Launch Urgent Hunt and Appeal for Information
Police Sergeant Sarah Hodgson of Dorset Police said:
“An investigation is underway to identify the offenders and locate the stolen puppies. I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in Charminster Road during the early hours of 24 May to come forward.
“If you’ve seen the puppies for sale in unusual circumstances or have any details about their whereabouts, please contact Dorset Police immediately. We are also sharing an image of the puppies in hopes someone recognises them.”
She added:
“Anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from the time around the theft is urged to help our enquiries.”
